Willow Class have been looking at the Ancient Egyptian's beliefs regarding the afterlife. We learned about mummification and why it was important. We then tried our hand at wrapping a doll - it is harder than it looks!
Willow Class make their own festive treats!
We created our own festive chocolate bark this morning. We researched products, designed our own bark and made our own packaging for it. We were all really proud of our makes and it was a great activity to get us into the Christmas spirit!
Roman Soldier Visit Willow
We loved having a Roman Soldier visit us today! We had the chance to look at artefacts and be Roman Soldiers. This was a really fun day and we learned so much!

Sustainable Straws!
Willow Class are now creating their own persuasive adverts for alternatives to ocean-damaging plastic straws and will be presenting their adverts to the creator of the sustainable straw company via Zoom.
Stroodling!
We watched the Strawpocalypse sculpture video and discussed the impact of plastic in the ocean. We tested out a sustainable alternative to plastic straws - Stroodles!
