As a Church of England school, it is important that we teach out pupils about service to others and generosity. Part of the way we do this is by supporting a range of charities. We have whole school fund-raising days for Children in Need and Comic Relief which are always a lot of fun. Often our School Council will plan these events.
Sometimes we will support charities who are close to the hearts of members of our school family. We have pupils who have attended Alder Hey Children's Hospital so in recent years we have fund-raised for them. We will also support national and global issues such as natural disasters or homelessness.
Each year, our Family Groups will choose a charity they would like to raise money for: most recently we chose our local RSPCA centre and Alder Hey.
