Willow Class - Year 3 & Year 4

Today we had a very special visitor, Mrs Potter's dog, Spud!

The children took photographs and investigated the food he ate, as well as his chew for cleaning his teeth! Some of his teeth were the same shape as our own canine teeth, but MUCH bigger! 

We acted out the difference in the way people lived between the Neolithic and the Mesolithic people.In the Mesolithic period, people hunted and killed animals for food.

The children looked at features of the rocks using magnifying glasses and recorded their findings.

We used flow charts to classify igneous rocks.

We made an edible version of the Earth's layers. Can you guess what is on the top of the top soil?

The children in Willow Class took part in our one-mile, cross-country challenge around our playing field. The children have been improving their running and overall health and fitness over the last two terms by running the daily mile. They were very fast and made it look easy! Well done to all of…
