Welcome to our Nursery Class

For many years, we have run a highly successful nursery/pre-school group for local children. Places are available for children from the term after their second birthday up to school age. Our current provision is a Section 27 Governor Led provision which is very closely linked to the rest of school.

We can take up to 24 children in a session and our aim is to prepare the children for starting school in Reception by giving them the best possible start to their learning journey.

Nursery is run by a team of qualified and experienced staff, led by Jane Fairbrother who has worked with nursery aged children for many years.

There is a strong emphasis on the benefits of outdoor play with daily access to the outdoors and regular visits to the on-site forest. The nursery has its own classroom situated next to reception class which helps develop good links for smooth transition into school.

We are committed to offering all children in the community a happy, stimulating, safe and nurturing environment in which they can learn and develop a wide range of early learning skills.

We accept Government funding for 15/30 hours.

Fees are payable for the hours below:

We are open Monday to Friday 9am – 3.30pm during term-time. We also run an Early Years Holiday Club 7 weeks of the school year.

Children can extend their day by attending Breakfast Club from 7:30am-8:50am and After School Club 3.30pm -  5:30pm .
