What makes us distinctively Christian?
The pupils in school understand our bespoke Christian vision:
'You are the Light of the world. A school that stands upon a hill can not be hidden'. (Adapted from Matthew 5:14)
They know that the Light of Jesus shines in their hearts and that they can share their Light with others. We see our school as a Beacon of Light on top of Preesall Hill shining down on our local community.
One pupil recently said, ' Together our light shines brighter' which is a beautiful image and epitomises what, as a church school, we are about.
Our core values are Be Kind; Be Brave and Be Respectful and permeate through all aspects of school life. We also have 6 other Christian values that we focus on through the year: Thankfulness; Peace: Love; Perseverance; Trust and Hope.
