Papier Mache Sculptures
In Willow Class we are being extremely creative designing Christmas Table Centrepieces using papier mache. Watch this space for our finished masterpieces.
Cup Stacking Fun
We have been having fun learning how to speed stack cups. To speed stack correctly the children need to use both hands which involves using both sides of the brain, therefore developing concentration skills.
Playground Games
In our topic looking at the history of our school we played some games that our grandparents would have played.
Shadows
Willow Class worked extremely hard investigating shadows. Their tin figures produced great shadows. Well done Willow Class
Famous Visitor
'Biographies'. The children have carried out their own research finding information on a local professional sports person Brian 'The Loin' Rose. To inspire fantastic biography writing Brian came into class to surprise the children and answer their questions.
Winmarleigh Hall Visit - Year 6
Year 6 always love their residential visit to Winmarleigh Hall outdoor activity centre and this year was no exception. Everyone had a go and challenged themselves, I think the Giant Swing was one of the most popular activities with some pupils even going right to the top!
Practical maths

ART INSPIRED BY NATURE
We are using inspiration from nature and the seasons in art this half-term. Year 6 spend one morning a week in the forest with Mrs Crompton which enables them to link creative skills with the outdoors.
Fabulous Animations

History Walk
