This morning Ash class have managed to run/walk around the juniour playground and field 8 times, equating to 1 mile! We are all very tired now.

Programming Bee-bots and linking to positional language with year 1. 

This afternoon we have planted magic beans, we used this activity to re-cap what a plant needs in order to grow. 

Today we discovered what happens to chocolate when we melt it! We then used instructions to make Easter nest cakes and enjoyed them for snack. Yum!!

Ash class have been planting trees with Mrs Crompton this afternoon. 

Children in Ash class have been on a nature walk to find leaves.We have been exploring tees and learning about Claude Monet the famous painter. 

Children in reception have been using Numicon to complete number bonds to ten!

Ash class have got a new sceintific table that links to our topic Global Gardens! 

In maths this week we have been learning about measuring and have measured different objects around the classroom using cms. Reception went into the hall and put themselves into height order starting from the tallest and working right through to the smallest. Year 1 completed the same activity…

The children from Ash class had lots of fun today planting cress seeds. They used Year 1's instructions to plant the seeds!
