We joined with reception class to learn about the work of a guide dog. We tried reading braille using our fingers and talked to and stroked the dog.

Remembrance Day
In Willow Class the children all made their own poppy and created a wreath to remember all the service men and women who have lost their lives to defend our country.
Rememberance Day and Children in Need
All the children in Ash Class made Pudsey ears and kept them on all day to raise money for Children in Need.
They also made Pudsey biscuits to to sell at the bake also to raise money.

We have been busy in Pre School finding our way round and exploring our new surroundings. We have had fun in the forest, retelling stories and playing with our new friends in the pre school room.
Life Education Centre
On Friday 10th October, the children in Oak Class went to the Life Education Centre. They found out all about keeping healthy and how people might feel if you aren't friendly to them.
The Newt
Oak Class have been pond dipping and the found a Greater Crested Newt. These are very rare, so it is fantastic we have them living in our pond.
