The children in Ash class have been re-telling the story of Jesus' birth in groups, we are all fantastic at re-telling the story.

Ash class have been using Numicon to add and subtract numbers! 

Thank you to all the family members and friends of Willow Class for attending our Afternoon Tea Party.  The children thoroughly enjoyed planning, preparing and serving at the party.  I hope you all enjoyed their preformance of Ho, Ho, Ho. 

All the children in Oak Class performed really well in the school nativity.

Well done to the Multi Skills Team, you were amazing.  Your hard work paid off coming 2nd place. Fantantic!!

In Willow Class we are being extremely creative designing Christmas Table Centrepieces using papier mache.  Watch this space for our finished masterpieces.

We have been having fun learning how to speed stack cups.  To speed stack correctly the children need to use both hands which involves using both sides of the brain, therefore developing concentration skills.

In our topic looking at the history of our school we played some games that our grandparents would have played.

Willow Class worked extremely hard investigating shadows.  Their tin figures produced great shadows. Well done Willow Class

'Biographies'.  The children have carried out their own research finding information on a local professional sports person Brian 'The Loin' Rose.  To inspire fantastic biography writing Brian came into class to surprise the children and answer their questions.  

Year 6 always love their residential visit to Winmarleigh Hall outdoor activity centre and this year was no exception. Everyone had a go and challenged themselves, I think the Giant Swing was one of the most popular activities with some pupils even going right to the top!

In Elm Class we have been having fun exploring the topic of shape with practical activities. This has helped us with naming a range of shapes and being able to describe their properties. Using construction kits is great for exploring the nets of 3D shapes. We have also learned about different…
