We are practising tiny movements with our fingers! What can you lift with pegs at home?

We have been following a recipe to make alien rock cakes.  They must of been special because they went into the oven green... but after baking the green had disappeared! Where did it go?  Whose taken the green from our cakes?

We tried lots of different food!

We tried chicken fried rice, prawn toast, noodles, prawn crackers, seaweed, Chinese chicken and Chicken balls... yummy, yummy, yummy!

We have been practising using chop sticks to pick up rice noodles.

We have been to China Red in Poulton to try lots of Chinese food.

We travelled on a coach.

Chinese chicken, chicken fried rice, noodles, prawn crackers, seaweed, prawn toast......... yummy, yummy, yummy!

We put on our seatbelt and sat sensibly all the way to Poulton!

A big 'thank you' for sending in materials to create 'The Digestive System'.  I'm sure you will agree the display looks fantastic.

Willow Class have been working hard studying fruit.  Their clay 3D models are great.  The children shaped the clay whilst closely observing fruit.  The models then went to Pilling Pottery to be baked in their kiln.  The children then painted the fruit using different techniques to create texture…

Last week we listened to different Little Red Hen stories - we have had fun making our own bread and tasing different breads from around the world for our snacks.

We have acted out the stories using different animals.
