Sophie and Rosie have settled and are very happy in the classroom. The children have been feeding them and checking the water is fresh.

Hello, my name is Buttons the Lion. I will be coming home with one of the children in Ash Class each week.

Rosie and Sophie are our new class pets.

Rosie is a brown guinea pig and she is six months old.

Sophie is a white guinea pig and she is three years old.

We will be learning what they need and how to look after them.

At snack time we made fruit kebabs - threading and counting different fruits.

We climb trees and make our own swings.

We joined with reception class to learn about the work of a guide dog. We tried reading braille using our fingers and talked to and stroked the dog.

We have been working to gether building dens.
