World War 2 - Evacuation
Elm class have been learning all about world war 2. To find out how the children must of felt during their evacuations, we experienced our very own. We got our suitcases and gas masks and lined up ready to be chosen by our new families (Mrs Gladwin and Mrs Adams)!

Week 1 in Beech Class
Wow, what an extremely busy first week in Beech Class we had!
There were plenty of cards made, mud pies created, friendships formed, balance beams walked across, lawn mowers excitedly watched, worship pebbles painted, snack eaten in the quiet, cool forest and most importantly: memories made!

Team building
We enjoy working as a team to make fantastic creations in the areas of provision! We used the vocabulary we had learnt during our Castle theme in the Spring term.
Pond Dipping
We took a trip to our school nature area where we have a pond. We used nets to catch some tadpoles and looked closely at them before creating a life cycle of a frog in the classroom.
Dough Disco
We enjoy dough disco! This helps us to develop fine motor control and improves our writing.
Signs of Spring
We went on a hunt around the school grounds looking for signs of Spring. We worked in small groups and used an Ipad to take photographs of what we found. We saw beautiful daffodils on our school field.
