This week has been a busy one in Beech Class!
We started off the week by practising writing our name, sounding out each letter as we wrote it!
We have also been thinking some more about numbers, playing number matching games as well as hiding 2 children to guess who was missing (I think we might need to work on covering our eyes!). We were introduced to five and tens frames, and worked on placing just two counters inside!
We had a very muddy forest session, jumping in muddy puddles, making mud soup, rolling items down the pipe and painting poppies for our Remembrance Garden.
We listened to a story about a very colourful elephant called Elmer, collaging a rainbow and an Elmer for our classroom!
We learnt all about how Diwali is the festival of light and made our own Diya lamps!
