We have been learning about 'full up' and 'nearly full'! We have been thinking about the difference between them.
Wildflower Painting!
We have been looking at our wildflowers and describing their shapes and colours. We used brushes and paint to paint what we could see.

We have been using natural materials to make patterns we find outdoors, This is a snail shell (spiral).

We found lots of snails in the garden. We looked had how they moved . Which snail can win the race?
Hairy caterpillars in action....
Look at our hairy caterpillars grow! Soon we will be able to cut their hair and practise our scissor skills!
Wonderful Wildflowers Buzz Buzz!
The children chose the seeds and planted their own wildflower garden. It has already been visited by lots of bees!
Potato Pulling!
Today we have pulled up the potatoes we have grown. They are all different shapes and sizes. Tomorrow we will cook them and see what they taste like.
Digital Magnifyer Work
Today the children recorded their learnig and ideas on digital microscopes. We pressed record and listened for the beep! We then finished our recording and listened for two beeps. To check it had worked we pressed 'play' and listened carefully!
Summer Observations!
Today has been very hot so we we decided to see what happens to our trees in Summer. We asked questions e.g. what has changed since Spring? Why? How do we know it is Summer?
