Today we brought in our favouite animal toys.  We hide our toys and described them to a partner who draw what they thought the toy would look like.  We then wrote about our toys using adjectives.

Oak Class 2017-18

We learnt Knott End Cafe usd to be a train station and The Pilling Pig (a train that squealed like a pig) ran from there to Preesall, Pilling and Garstang.

As part of our geography/history walk on 'Our Local Area' Willow Class completed a trail walk from Knott End through Preesall taking photographs and finding out information on points of interest alomg the way. The children learnt that the Round House, pictures, used to be a toll house where people would pay a toll (money) for using the roads in Preesall.
