Science Week
We made play dough using different ingredients and then explored them in our circuits. The play dough containing salt and cream of tartare allowed electricity to flow through it as it is a conducting dough. We found the dough made with sugar to be an insulating material.
Three Billy Goats Gruff!
The children have been folding, bending, curling and cutting to make a 'scene' from the traditional tale.
Lopper Ladybirds!
The children have been telling Miss Brakewell where to place the loppers ready to fill a plant pot for the ladybirds to live in.
Ladybird Homes!
We have been using a 'bit and brace' to make holes in some wood ready for ladybirds to visit in the summer.
Science Week
In Willow Class during Science Week we have been learning about Climate Change. The children were set a challenge to design a 'Floating Garden' so that crops can be grown during the flooding season. They will be tested tomorrow!
