Wonderful Wellies!
We have been planting Lavendar seeds in old wellingtons ready for our bees to visit! We know that a seed needs soil, water and sunlight to grow,
We will need to observe the weather and water our Lavendar if the soil gets too dry.
Observation Station
We have an 'Observation Station' in our outdoor area. We can use a magnifying glass to observe the mini-beast hotel, the wildflower graden, the potatoes we planted or our water gauges. We are looking for changes and patterns. We are also identifying reasons why thingsā¦
Now it is Spring...
We have been talking about the changes in our trees from winter through to spring. We used our findings to mix paints and record our work.
Colour Collage
Today we had to pick a colour and make a collage using only that colour.
Subtracting Beans!
Today we have been thinking about subtraction. We have been using beans to 'take-away', counting backwards and also thinking about nnumber bonds to work out the answer.

Castle Building
The girls decided to build a castle using natural materials from our Forest School area. The girls used different lengths and types of wood to build each part of the castle.

Today we have played a listening game linked to the story of Jack and the Beanstalk. The children had to creep and steal the Giant's food before they got caught.
