World Book Day
Today we had a fantastic time reading each other our favourite books, for World Book Day.
Ninja Warrior Challenge
Elm Class thoroughly enjoyed their Ninja Warrior session today and all had a good go at all the challenges. Girls beat the boys in the rope challenge and Lucie achieved the fastest time around the circuit, only just beating Millie and Rosie. Well done to everyone! What a fantastic…
World Book Day
Today, we had a special visitor. Kit, the librarian from Knott End Library, came into class to read us all a story.
Pancakes in the Forest
We talked about Shrove Tuesday and the beginning of Lent before cooking pancakes in the forest.
Pancake Day
We listen to different pancake stories and rhymes.
We had fun finding out what we needed to make pancakes. Pancake tossing and racing was difficult.
Our Bodies
The children in Oak Class have labelling body parts on life sized body outlines.
The Little Red Hen
Pre School have been listening to the Little Red Hen. We have tasted bread from around the world and made different types of dough. We can retell the story using small world toys.
Bonjour!
As part of our 'Passport to Europe' topic, we are studying different countries in Europe. We created our own passports and have set off on our travels!
Last week was German week (blog coming very soon!), and this week is French week!
So, 'Bonjour!'
Here are some examples of our work…
