Yesterday, Oak Class went on a fantastic visit to the model village in Blackpool.

Today, Joanna from Creation Station, came into school to do some fantastic art with us.
Year 6 Knitting Group
Jan from Knit and Natter has been coming into school each week to teach groups of Year 6 to knit. They are making squares which will be sewn together to make pet blankets for the RSPCA.
Year 6 Car Wash Fund-raiser
This week, Year 6 pupils spent a morning at A&G Precision washing cars to raise funds for their end of year trips. They washed a lot of cars and raised £225. Thanks to A&G for providing a well-earned lunch.
Mindfulness
Today the children took a long look at themselves then focused on how special they are. All they need to do to remember that proud feeling any time is to rub their thumb and forefinger together.
Fruit Salads
We have had great fun today making Fruit Salads. We learned about how we keep our bodies healthy. The best part was eating them!
Caterpillars
Our new caterpillars are growing very quickly. We have planted flowers for when they hatch. We even found caterpillars in the forest.
Mindfulness and Yoga
Ash Class really enjoyed their Mindfulness and Yoga session this morning. What a great way to start the week.
Instructions
The children have been devising their own games. They then had to use clear instructions to teach another group how to play the game.
Sea Life Centre/Lifeboat Station
Ash Class and Pre School have had an amazing day today at Blackpool Sea Life Centre and the Lifeboat Station. We learned so much and had lots of fun, especially seeing Mr Gee having water thrown at him! The sun shone so we had a 10 minute play on the beach.
