Lancaster Castle
We had a great morning at Lancaster Castle. We were able to identify features and learned about the castle being a court and a prison.

Pond Dipping
During their forest session the children in Oak Class had a chance to do some pond dipping. They saw lots of frog spawn, and caught some freshwater shrimps.
Easter Story
Today we have acted out Palm Sunday and recreated the Last Supper.
Castle
We now have a castle in the classroom. The children are extremely excited and are enjoying dressing up and designing shields.
Practical Maths
The children have been using Base Ten apparatus to calculate subtractions involving decomposition.
Frogs
The frogs have arrived back in the pond. We found lots of frog spawn and noisy frogs.
West End Dance
We had fun listening to How to Catch a Star story then retelling it through dance with our friends from Reception .
Ninja Warrior Day
