Bread tasting
This week we have tried breads from around the world for our snacks. We all liked Naan, garlicbread and bagels.
Bread making
We listened to the Little Red Hen story then we helped her by making the bread.
Using our senses!
In science we have been learning about our 5 senses. Today we hae used all five of our senses. We have taste tested, listened, looked, touched and smelt a variety of different things. We have had lots of fun and we can now all name our five senses and what we use them for.

Children wrote very interesting questions for Jack Arnfield; asking about his life and work.
Special Visitor
Today Reverend Dawn came to visit Oak Class. She spoke to the children about 'The Bible'. The children listened to how the Reverend uses the Bible and had the opportunity to look at different versions.
Harvest Festival
Oak and Ash Class children performed their 'Thank You' song in our Harvest Festival. Their singing voices could be heard throughout the church. They were all amazing.
Making bread to celebrate Harvest!
This afternoon Ash class made their own bread rolls and we have tried lots of different breads for our snack. We also learnt some imperative verbs like stir, pour, melt, mix and sieve. We loved trying different breads! :)
Harvest Festival
The children in Willow Class shared some of their own Harvest prayers as they led the prayers at the Harvest service at St. Oswald's Church, Preesall.
Fine motor practice!
We have been strengthening the muscles in our hand to help us to write. We used cotton buds and paint and glitter glue to follow the wavey, zig zagged and curly lines!
Snack time
Chocolate croissant taste yummy when you are outdoors.We all cooked our own over the fire pit.
