The children have really enjoyed using all of the areas outside today. We have a new sand shed, the children have produced some fantastic collaborative play in the sand. 

Look at our ribbon sticks we made to dance to the Indian music.

We have a new, natural water area. We have been using measuring jugs to pour water through the water channels. 

We have been using tweezers to find spiders buried in our spooky grey spaghetti. How many spiders can you find?

Maths Challenge Cards

The children worked in pairs, selecting maths challenges to work on.  They independently selected equipment to help solve the challenges.  Great work Oak Class, well done.

Oak Class enjoyed their visit to the Life Education Centre.  They learnt about different parts of our bodies and what those parts do.

The wind kept blowing our leaves as we tossed them in the air.

Who can we see hiding under the leaves? We worked hard collecting leaves to camouflage our fiends.
