Stone Age cave art
During our Stone Age Topic the children found out how we know what life was like in the Stone Age. This is Cave Art depicting a hunting scene.
Rock and Roll Dance
The children really enjoyed their lessons with a specialist dance teacher. They created their own 'Rock n Roll' dances following sessions in which their learned new skills.
Volcano
Willow Class have been learning about Volcanoes. We made our own model and created an eruption before our own eyes. We were expecting much more lava!
Afternoon Tea Party
Thank you to all the family members and friends of Willow Class for attending our Afternoon Tea Party. The children thoroughly enjoyed planning, preparing and serving at the party. I hope you all enjoyed their preformance of Ho, Ho, Ho.
Papier Mache Sculptures
In Willow Class we are being extremely creative designing Christmas Table Centrepieces using papier mache. Watch this space for our finished masterpieces.
Cup Stacking Fun
We have been having fun learning how to speed stack cups. To speed stack correctly the children need to use both hands which involves using both sides of the brain, therefore developing concentration skills.
Shadows
Willow Class worked extremely hard investigating shadows. Their tin figures produced great shadows. Well done Willow Class
Famous Visitor
'Biographies'. The children have carried out their own research finding information on a local professional sports person Brian 'The Loin' Rose. To inspire fantastic biography writing Brian came into class to surprise the children and answer their questions.
Fabulous Animations
Using Wallis and Gromit as our inspiration, Willow Class have created their own fabulous animations.
History Walk
Willow Class went on a History walk around our local area. We have been learning about salt mining in the area so we walked to see where the mines were located. We also saw 'Bottomless Pit' which is now a fishing lake but was once a mine which collasped. Thank you to Mrs Hogarth who kindly gaveā¦
