Elm class - Year 6

We worked together collecting red leaves to create a poppy .

Exploring making a zip line using their knowledge of pulleys. 

Year 6 exploring the 10 plagues sent by God in their second 'Walk through the Bible' session.

The orange represents the world, the red ribbon around the middle represents the blood of Christ. The 4 cocktail sticks represent the 4 seasons and the candle represents Jesus - the Light of the World.

The Co-op in Preesall kindly donated the oranges for making the Christingles for our Carol Concert.

In our light topic, Year 6 have been exploring how light travels.

As part of their Science topic on light, Year 6 have been exploring how shadows are formed and also why the shape of a shadow changes through the day.

Bread tastes great cooked over the fire.

Look at the colours we can make with plants.

We made fairy cakes in the Forest.
