Elm class - Year 6

Hot chocolate and s'mores on a damp afternoon.

We had a challenge to make our own games using natural materials - football with a wood cookie and logs for goals!

Elm Class formed their own rock band and performed as a class - great fun!

Elm class have been learning some new basketball skills!

Elm class made crumble in the forest!

We made the Easter crosses in the Forest and put them in the wildflower banking.

Year 6 have been looking at different animals and how we can group them as scientists. 

We have been looking at equivalent fractions using chocolate!

We had great fun making Mayan hot chocolate this week. Not everybody was keen on the extra ingredients... cinnamon and CHILLI POWDER!

We all helped plant oak tree saplings that will here when our children and grandchildren come to this school. We found they lived up to 900 years.

Look out for landmines from WW2- don't touch the grass!

Great team work to create a habitat for a hedgehog to hibernate.
