We have been talking about our refreshed outdoor area!  What beautiful stones and shells we now have! I like the bumpy one......

Today we have been using our new chalkboard surfaces to practise our writing in the sunshine!

Can we manage to keep quiet enough for the birds to visit us? We matched the birds to our spotter sheets. Binoculars make them look big!!

We found good places to hang our bird food. I wonder who will come to try it?

We found out what type of food the birds like and designed a special cake for them.

We built our den really high so we could see the birds. It was hard work climbing up and moving the big branches.

We have been using story stones to tell each other traditional tales.  We are beginning with 'The Enormous Turnip'.

We have started to think about time, clocks and watches. Today we learnt about o'clock and which job each hand does!

Hannah brought in some of the tools she uses to draw with!  The children could chose from a range of media to create their own masterpiece.  Glitter was a very popular choice!
