We had to take care filling our clay moulds with melted pewter.

As part of learning about Anglo Saxons we made clay moulds ready to smelt pewter over the firepit. 

Spring is in the air - we enjoyed the sunshine looking for signs of spring.

Yesterday, a team of children from Year Two had a great time representing the school at a multi- skills tournament at Millfield Secondary School in Thornton. They all tried really hard, showing a fantastic attitude, and were a credit to the school.

The Year Twos had a fantastic time learning the Argentinian tango this afternoon.

We joined Ash and Oak class on a visit to China Red to celebrate the Chinese New Year. We loved the bus ride to Poulton and tasting lots of different food.

Its chilly outside so we can play in our sand shed learning to work together.

Can we use chop sticks to eat our snack? We are trying lots of different foods this week.

We all collected special autumn leaves with our families over the holidays.We talked about them with our friends and make pictures with them.
