Making bread to celebrate Harvest!
This afternoon Ash class made their own bread rolls and we have tried lots of different breads for our snack. We also learnt some imperative verbs like stir, pour, melt, mix and sieve. We loved trying different breads! :)
Fine motor practice!
We have been strengthening the muscles in our hand to help us to write. We used cotton buds and paint and glitter glue to follow the wavey, zig zagged and curly lines!
We love outdoors!
We have some new planks of wood in our outdoor area. The communication between the children in this area today has been fantastic. They worked well in a team and created a balancing extravaganza!
Mad about Science!
We have been learning about our body parts today! We hvae been labelling diagrams and creating bodies on the interactive whiteboard.
Sweet houses
This afternoon we have been using icing and lots of different kinds of sweets to create a sweet house for Hanzel and Gretal. We had to plan our experiment and predict what may happen to the sweets in different situations. We had lots of fun being scientists for the day!
Flash Bang Science!
Year 2 have had a brilliant morning making gloop and tunring milk into plastic! Please ask them how they did it and what liquids they used in their experiment!

Fleetwood Museum
We had a fabulous day at Fleetwood Museum!
We dressed as Victorians, played with toys from 150years ago, looked around a boarding house and learned about a day at the Seaside over 100years ago.
All the children were really well behaved and thoroughly enjoyed their time :)
Bee bots
Year 1 have been programming bee bots around an assault course that they created using lego.
