Clever Counting
The girls in reception have ben working together to to represent numbers. They continued their learning by ordering the numbers and Numicon pieces, all the way to twenty.
Exploring Beans!
The children in Ash class have been using equipment to explore different types of beans! We have been thinking about colour, shape, size and patterns. We have been asking each other questions about them e.g. which is your favourite bean? Which been do you think we have the most of in our tray?

This morning the children played games with Captain Cod and got to see the Premiership trophy.
The Yummy Easter Story!
We have been using biscuits and chocolate to make the Easter story! Brillianrt idea Miss Brakewell, the children have loved it!
Come and play butterflies.....
Today we have been planting seeds to make a wildflower garden. We hope it will encourage butterflies and bees to visit our outdoor classroom!
Red Nose Day
We helped our friends from pre school make red nose biscuits.
Easter Cross
We used ash from the firepit in the Forest to make our Easter cross.
Old Bear!
We have been using our senses to think about differences ibetween old bears and new bears! Mrs Mason's mummy lent us her old bear! It is not soft and cuddly like our bears! It wasfilled with wood shavings and his eyes were metal.
How tall is your baby?
We have begun using centimeters in Year One. Our baby clinic has been a perfect place to practise measuring taller and shorter!
What can you see in Springtime?
We have been watching things change and grow outside and in our local environment. We are learning to ask and answer how and why questions!
Woodland Trust saplings!
Thanks to Woodland Trust we have planted 60 new saplings on our playing field along the hedge! We had to dig a hole, add a cane for it to grow straight and a tube to help protect it until it grows 3m tall.
