Yesterday we had some very special visitors.
Next half-term Miss Gemma will be teaching dance to our Reception and Year 1 pupils. We look forward to watching their performances in a few weeks time! We are also hoping to offer an extra-curricular Cheer Leading class.
For the Summer Term, our pupils have chosen to support the RSPCA.
Following an excellent STEM workshop at A&G Precision, Year 6 were invited to visit BAE Systems.
Next term, we have arranged for Jan from the 'Knit and Natter' group at Knott-End Library to come and teach some of our pupils how to knit!

Last night 33 of our KS 2 pupils took to the stage at the Blackpool Opera House and performed a fantastic Musicals Medley at the annual schools' Celebration of Music Concert. Well done to everyone who took part - we are very proud of you all!
We are delighted to have made a link with St. Alban's Nursing Home in Knott-End. Each week a group of children will go and visit the residents to chat, play games and make crafts. We have started with a group of Year 6 pupils but we hope to also take some of our younger pupils in the coming months.
Yesterday, the children in Yr 5 had a fun session with Neil from ESP, being taught fantastic games and activities using the new playground markings.
Our Enterprise Challenge made over £1000! Well done to all of you; there were some fabulous, creative ways of making money. We have given special recognition to this group of children who made over £335 between them! Click for a picture.
