Next term, we have arranged for Jan from the 'Knit and Natter' group at Knott-End Library to come and teach some of our pupils how to knit!

Year 6 visit BAE Systems
Following an excellent STEM workshop at A&G Precision, Year 6 were invited to visit BAE Systems.
Rossall School Choir Event
Yesterday our choir sang 'Chim Chim Cheree' and 'A Million Dreams' in the beautiful chapel at Rossall School. They performed alongside 10 other local primary schools.
Celebration of Music 2019
Last night 33 of our KS 2 pupils took to the stage at the Blackpool Opera House and performed a fantastic Musicals Medley at the annual schools' Celebration of Music Concert. Well done to everyone who took part - we are very proud of you all!
St. Alban's Nursing Home
We are delighted to have made a link with St. Alban's Nursing Home in Knott-End. Each week a group of children will go and visit the residents to chat, play games and make crafts. We have started with a group of Year 6 pupils but we hope to also take some of our younger pupils in the coming months.
Playground Pals
Yesterday, the children in Yr 5 had a fun session with Neil from ESP, being taught fantastic games and activities using the new playground markings.
Enterprise Challenge 2019
Our Enterprise Challenge made over £1000! Well done to all of you; there were some fabulous, creative ways of making money. We have given special recognition to this group of children who made over £335 between them! Click for a picture.
Dance lessons for our Pre-School pupils
Miss Gemma is teaching dance to our youngest pupils this half-term. They had great fun being wizards!
Wyre and Fylde Schools Dance Competition
Our dance group had an amazing time performing their routine at the Tower Ballroom this week. Thank you to Miss Laura from the Laura Sandham School of Dance for choreographing their dance which combined Sister Act with Mary Poppins. Well done to everyone who took part! {gallery:Dance Competition}
