What is a Christingle orange?
The orange represents the world, the red ribbon around the middle represents the blood of Christ. The 4 cocktail sticks represent the 4 seasons and the candle represents Jesus - the Light of the World.

Science
In our light topic, Year 6 have been exploring how light travels.
Exploring shadows
As part of their Science topic on light, Year 6 have been exploring how shadows are formed and also why the shape of a shadow changes through the day.
Science Week
We made play dough using different ingredients and then explored them in our circuits. The play dough containing salt and cream of tartare allowed electricity to flow through it as it is a conducting dough. We found the dough made with sugar to be an insulating material.
