Vet visitors
Today, Beech and Ash Class had a lovely visit from Nicola and Katie from Lanes Vets. Not forgetting Nicola’s very cute collie ‘Stormy’.

Science
In Science today, Oak Class had a great lesson outside learning about animals' needs for survival. In teams, we created our own mini ponds to create the best homes for amphibians. We will be checking next week if we have anything in our ponds! Continue reading
Design and Technology
We had a great first lesson in our first design and technology lesson. We learnt about how to join two pieces of fabric together and trying out different ways to see which is best. This will help us when making our puppets in a few weeks.
Art
Oak Class had a fab time using different skills to shape and form patterns with play dough! We can't wait to use these skills to make our animals out of clay.
Science
Today in science, we explored different types of rocks and found a variety of ways to describe them using ourselves to feel and describe how the rocks looked, magnifying glasses, microscopes, weighing scales.
