A group of Year 5/6 children attended an athletics competition and finished in 3rd place out of 9 schools. This is what they have to say:
'During the athletics competition, we did well as a team. I enjoyed travelling the most' (Oliver)

'I enjoyed the obstacle relay because it was fun and tricky. I did multiple games like vertical jump, relay races and chest push. At the end, our hard effort paid off and got 3rd place' (Caleb)
I liked when we did the races. When we came 3rd, I was so proud of the group!' (Charlie)
I enjoyed doing the 2x2 relay race and there were some really fast runners but I was overjoyed to have come 2nd. I like the 4x4 relay and the long jump. It wasn't about winning but trying your best and having fun! We all tried really hard and managed to get on the podium. We came 3rd place overall out of 9 schools, I was so proud of myself and the team mates in my group.' (Mia)
