Easter nests
Today we discovered what happens to chocolate when we melt it! We then used instructions to make Easter nest cakes and enjoyed them for snack. Yum!!
Planting trees!
Ash class have been planting trees with Mrs Crompton this afternoon.
Nature walk
Children in Ash class have been on a nature walk to find leaves.We have been exploring tees and learning about Claude Monet the famous painter.

In maths this week we have been learning about measuring and have measured different objects around the classroom using cms. Reception went into the hall and put themselves into height order starting from the tallest and working right through to the smallest. Year 1 completed the same activity…
Growing Cress!
The children from Ash class had lots of fun today planting cress seeds. They used Year 1's instructions to plant the seeds!
Global Gardens!
Our new topic is all about rainforests and gardens situated in the UK. The role play area has been transformed into a rainfroest cafe and the children have been making some fantastic meals on their first day back after half term!
In literacy over the next few weeks we will be looking closely…
Jesus is special!
The children in Ash class have been re-telling the story of Jesus' birth in groups, we are all fantastic at re-telling the story.
